Peter Lloyd

Peter William Lloyd, age 56, passed away peacefully in the arms of his girlfriend on October 28, 2021.

Peter was born in Calgary, Alberta on December 16, 1964. He was the first child of Eric and Frances Lloyd. Peter worked as a truck driver throughout Canada for 35 years.

In his early years Peter enjoyed his summers at Pierce Lake in Northern Saskatchewan at his grandparents’ cabin where he learnt fishing, hunting and canning. He loved his weekly dice games with Anthony, special dinners with Brandon, Alessia and always Brett; and riding his Harley Davidson. He spent this past summer touring the Northshore on his new “Cadillac” Road King.

Peter will be sadly missed and forever loved by his partner Maureen Caldwell, son Dylan, daughter Maddie, stepson Brandon Maclean (fiancé Alessia Powell); mother Frances, brother Sam, sister Sonja (Scott Webster), nephews John and Derek; friends Anthony and Brett; fur babies Quizzy, Batman and Bruin.

He was predeceased by his father Eric in 1980 and Donna Mclean in 2019.

A celebration of Peter’s life will take place on Monday, November 8, 2021 at The Itai Sports Bar & Lounge, 132 South Algoma Street, from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
