Philip Tranmer

Phillip J. “Señior” Tranmer passed away, unexpectedly, on October 27, 2016 in his home at the age of 55 years.

He was born in Fort William on March 25, 1961.

Phillip was a long time businessman and owner his own local bread route. He had distributed for many companies such as Holsum and Weston Foods. Phillip was an amazing storyteller and loved making people laugh with his delightfully honest sense of humour.

He valued spending quality time and eating a good meal with his family. He took great pride in all the accomplishments of his children and happily bragged about them to anyone he talked to.

Phillip will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Mia, his children Zach (Lindsey), Elsie (Drew) and Phillip, his mother Movreen Tranmer, his father Graham Tranmer (Lise), and his sister Movreen Collins (Tom).

He will also be remembered by numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends, and his best friend and beloved cat Toki.

Phillip was predeceased by his brother Terry Tranmer and grandmother Elsie Huber.  Visitation will be held Saturday, November 5, 2016 beginning at 12:30 p.m. with a service to follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre, 499 North Cumberland Street, presided by Rev. Msgr. P. M. Stilla, V.G. of St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Donations to the family are appreciated in lieu of flowers.
