Phyllis Olafson

Phyllis Olafson, age 89, died peacefully on March 19, 2021 at Pioneer Ridge. She is reunited with her husband, Lloyd.

Phyllis created a loving and pleasant home. Although quiet, with her quick wit she was a good match for Lloyd, as both liked to laugh. She enjoyed visiting family, camping, fishing and the outdoors. Her love of flowers and gardening was evident in the house and yard.

She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her daughters, Jo Anne, Lynn, and Lois (John Thompson); sister Cecilia Mortime; sisters-in-law Helen and Sophia Wach, plus many nieces, nephews, and their families.

Phyllis is predeceased by her husband, Lloyd; parents, Adam and Frances; stepmother Teenie; brothers Maryon, Eugene and Victor Wach;, and sister Bernice Reimer.

A special thanks to the staffs of Pioneer Ridge and St. Joseph's.

A Funeral Mass and burial will be scheduled later.
