Mr. Raimo Erik Tapio, age 66 years, resident of Thunder Bay, passed away at TBRHSC on November 15th, 2019.
Born on December 26, 1952 in Finland, he was raised in Port Arthur and attended Hammarskjold High School. Raimo was employed as a truck driver and most recently as a taxi driver for Roach’s Taxi. He enjoyed fishing and mechanics.
Raimo is survived by his spouse Bonnie Monteith, daughter Melissa Davies (David), son Aaron Tapio, grandson Micheal and brother George Tapio. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
