Mr. Raymond Joseph Sylvio Binette passed away peacefully at home on October 9, 2018. Born on October 14, 1945 in Fort William, Ontario, he was an adored son of Annette and Bruno, and a life-long friend of his brothers, Maurice, Richard and Marcel. Raymond worked for 51 admirable years at Monty Parks Centre until his retirement in 2015. He was a faithful member of St. Patrick’s Cathedral. He loved listening to country music, writing songs, dancing, playing checkers and bowling. His life was richer for all the activities, trips and support he enjoyed with his many friends of Community Living Thunder Bay, for which his family is grateful. Raymond and his appreciative, easy-going and humorous nature are lovingly remembered by his sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation to celebrate Raymond’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 between 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Jenkens Funeral Home, 226 S. Syndicate Ave. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Community Living Thunder Bay are appreciated.
