Raymond Landgraff
Mr. Raymond George Landgraff, age 63 years, passed away peacefully in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Sunday, February 28, 2021 with his family by his side.

Ray was born in Port Arthur on November 19, 1957 to Roy and Thelma Landgraff. He was educated locally and worked for the majority of his life as a mechanic, before finishing his last years as a truck driver. Ray met Cindy Peck and they were married on January 21, 1984. He was a dedicated husband, loving father and proud Papa. His family was his whole world and time spent together was his biggest passion. Ray enjoyed camping, fishing, skidooing and tinkering on cars as well as all animals.

Ray loved making people smile, especially children. He was known as “Mr. Halloween” and each year he set up his big yard displays for all to see. At Christmas time, he would also dress up as Santa and go around handing out treats and gifts to kids in the neighbourhood. Ray was a very giving man, donating both time and money to Camp Quality, to enhance the lives of children. He was one of a kind, had a sappy sense of humour and would never miss the opportunity to make a grand gesture. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

Ray is survived by his wife of 36 years, Cindy (nee Peck); children Nicole (Travis) and Benjamin (Bre); and special great-granddaughter Penelope; brother-in-law Keith Peck; niece Kristi (Reg) and their children Brandon and Mia; nephew Jamie (Nicki) and their children Pam and Nikayla as well as numerous other extended relatives.

He was predeceased by his son Aaron; parents Roy and Thelma; siblings David and Barb.

Due to the current restrictions, a private family graveside service was held in Mountainview Cemetery. A Celebration of Ray's Life will take place at a later date. Should friends so desire, donations made in memory of Ray to Camp Quality would be greatly appreciated.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Westfort Chapel, 420 West Gore Street at James.
