It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Raymond Perozzo, age 85 on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Hogarth Riverview Manor. Raymond was born in Fort William on September 11, 1936, raised in the East end where he enjoyed his childhood, youth, adulthood and senior years living on McLaughlin Street.
A carpenter by trade, he was very proud of his accomplishments willing to share his knowledge and craftsmanship with all who would listen. His nephews and nieces would attest to his passion for working with tools which he prized and cared for. Raymond had a wonderful singing voice, we certainly won’t forget his vocal rendition of “How Great Thou Art”.

He is survived by his brother Lidio, sister Lea (Lovis) sister-in-law Norma Jean Perozzo and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parent, Ermenia (Compardo), Ricardo, brothers Angel (Ilca), Leno (Theresa), Billy, nephew Ken Perozzo and brother-in-law Gilbert Lovis.

A special thank you to all the great health care providers who participated in Remo’s care. Cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will be held in the spring. In the end, its not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years. (Abraham Lincoln)
