Reino Aho

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Reino Aho on May 13, 2025, after a lengthy illness. He was born in Fort William on October 15, 1954 to Elmer and Margaret Aho and grew up in Pearson Township where his love of hunting and fishing began. Reino is survived by his wife Laurie, sons Brad and Ryan Aho, and by his cherished granddaughters Madison, MacKenzie, Brynlee, Rhaya and Aliyah Aho who brought immense joy to his life. He is also survived by his devoted sister Elizabeth Marlene Kennedy along with many nieces and nephews as well as a circle of extended family and friends whom he treasured dearly. Reino is predeceased by his parents Elmer and Margaret Aho as well as siblings Eleanor Lane, Armas Aho and Evelyn Jacobson.

There will be a celebration of life held on Saturday June 14 th 2025 at the Nolalu Community Centre from 1 to 4 pm.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 575 Central Avenue, Thunder Bay.
