On November 12, 2022, Rhonda Leigh Fishbein (nee Lewis), loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 64.

Rhonda was born on July 11, 1958, to Muriel Lewis and David Hamilton in Prince George, BC. She worked hard to receive a degree in Nursing from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario and later, her masters. She pursued a successful nursing career for several years before retiring. During that time she would meet Howard Clifton Fishbein, whom she married on October 6, 1980. Together they raised two sons, Trevor and Travis.

Rhonda's most defining qualities were her limitless compassion and love for those around her - to her colleagues she was a mentor, a leader, and shoulder to cry on. To the population of Thunder Bay who were sick and injured she was a great healer and a source of comfort on some of their worst days. Family was one of the most important things to her, and there were many people that she considered family. She always put others needs ahead of her own, and the love she shared with them was immeasurable.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Carol, Darcy, Gary, Glenn, and Wayne.

Survived by her husband of 42 years, Howard; her two sons Trevor (Becky) and Travis (Jacquie); grandchildren Tyler and Mikayla; siblings Dale, Deanne, Dwayne, Gail, Ian, Sharon, Shelly, Rodney, and in-laws Charlene and Gerry as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and she will be laid to rest alongside her mother in New
Westminster, BC. Arrangements have been entrusted to the EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma.

She will always be loved, and she will always be remembered.
