It is with heavy hearts that the family of Rhonda Lynn Stirrup announce her very sudden passing on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 as she was surrounded by family and friends. Rhonda was born May 23, 1953 in Port Arthur, where she resided her entire Life. Many will remember her as a kind, generous, caring and loving person who had the biggest heart. She was a mentor to family, friends, young people, as well as strangers. No one ever went hungry or without in her presence and often she would give to others who she felt needed her help or money more than she did. Rhonda enjoyed cooking, camping, crafting, and the “occasional” trip to the casino. She looked forward to her weekly Friday night get together with her best friend Jocelyn. She was especially proud of her grandchildren; her eyes would light up in their presence or when she spoke of them. All her grandchildren held a very special place in her heart.

Rhonda is survived by her loving children: Michelle(Dan), Jodee(JT), Cindy(Murray), Lacey(Sean), and step children: James(Louise), Diane, Jerry(Trish), John(Tracey), Nicole(Henry), grandchildren: Jesse, Cody, Deanna, Kristopher, Kristina, Jared, Jenna, Ashley, Spencer, Sarrah Lynn, Michael, Scotlund, Kilten, Madison, Peytan and Grayson. Best friend Jocelyn(Shawn), Brother from another mother Ken Pobihushchyj(Dodie), Nieces & Nephew Jason(Jenn), Jennifer(Danae), Rachelle(Gerald) and Rene(Curtis), and her favourite little people Izzy, Libby, and Jono. She was predeceased by her Husband Raymond Stirrup, Father Donald Luck, Mother Doreen Luck, Sister Lori Luck and Nephew Jeffrey Arnam.

Rhonda is finally together again with her loving husband Raymond Frank Stirrup who she was proudly married to for 34 years before his passing.

As per Rhonda’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a “happy party” for friends and family on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Davinci Centre, 340 Waterloo Street, to share memories as she did not want anyone to be sad or fuss over her.

In lieu of flowers or donations, please go to the casino in memory of her and send “her half of the winnings” to someone who might need it more than you do.

Rhonda, you have touched the lives of many and left such a huge impact on every person who ever had the pleasure of knowing your beautiful soul. You will never be forgotten. You can be assured in the fact that you have profoundly touched the lives and hearts of many.
