Mr. Robert E. Cole age 77 years of Thunder Bay passed away in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre with his family by his side on March 2, 2015.
Bob retired from Saskatchewan Wheat Pool as an electrician many years ago which enabled him to pursue his hobby of trains. Over the years he had built a working model railroad in his basement of which he was very proud of.
In April 1989, Bob married Sharon and two families were united. A lot of good times were had out at Cloud Lake over the years. He was a kind and loving man. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his wife Sharon, daughter Karen (Bruce), sons Monty (Susan), Jody (Patty), Shawn (Jocelyn); grandchildren Amelia, Cory, Micheal, Jesse, Adam, Chris and Devon; great grandchildren Skyla, Bella, Chaise, Kaylee, Peyton and Vinnie and his fur babies Tiger and Patches. Bob was predeceased by his parents Frank and Olive, his brother Bill Cole and his sister-in-law Toddy.
As per his wishes, there will not be a funeral service. A celebration of life will follow at a later date.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff of 3A and the doctors at TBRHSC for taking special care of Dad. Should friends so desire, donations may be made in Bob’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
