It is with great sorrow that we announce that Robin Marshall has completed her journey here on earth. She passed peacefully in St Joseph’s Hospice on January 27 following a brief battle with cancer.

She was born in Port Arthur on November 6, 1956 and is predeceased by her mother Moira McCulloch, father Leonard Marshall and father to her daughter, Wayne Baker. She will be lovingly missed by her daughter Serene Baker(Turner), beloved grandson Marshall Wayne Johnson, sister Dawna Harty (Ed), Leslie Draper (Mike) and Sandy Cava. Nieces and nephews Tyler, Joel, Jordyn, Eddy, Chris, Brooke and Nathan.

Robin was a free spirit, an original hippie with a magical soul who loved living off the land and being one with nature. She enjoyed working the earth in her garden and creating potions with her herbs. She took pleasure in the paradise that she created for the neighborhood birds who would flock to her yard for safety and shelter.

Her greatest companions were her beloved dogs, too numerous to mention, who filled her life with so much love. Ultimately, her greatest pride and joy was her grandson Marshall and we are so thankful that she got to meet him.

Robin was an independent handy-woman; creative and artistic. She created many things but her finest creation was her daughter Serene whom she loved with all her heart.

She spent her last night cheering on the Leafs and was an avid fan, Go Leafs Go.
