Roger Cheesequay, age 57 years of Thunder Bay, loving son, brother, father, uncle, grandfather, and great grandfather, passed away peacefully in the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Thursday, March 25, 2010.

Roger worked numerous jobs, including Roaches Taxi, which was the last place of employment. He enjoyed numerous activities and family gatherings. Roger’s passion in life were his friends, family, baseball, playing pool, watching his Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Maple Leafs, and visiting friends at the Daily Grind. His favourite saying was "Hey Kids" (Omababika).

Roger is survived by his mother Vernonica (Betty) Cheesequay; brothers: Paul (Rose), Arthur, Howard (Michell), Wayne (Holly), Wilfred (Lori), Toby (Dorthy), George (Candice) Alex; sisters: Kosee (Carl), Martha (James) Leona; daughters: Valerie and Jessica; son Cory; three grandchildren; one great grandchild and special friend Sandra Chapais (cupcake). Numerous aunts; uncles; nieces and nephews also survive. He was predeceased by his father, Thomas Cheesequay in 2001.

Funeral Services for the late Roger Cheesequay will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 29th, 2010 in the Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday afternoon, March 28th, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Harbourview Funeral Centre, 499 North Cumberland Street.
