It is with great sadness that the family of Roger Donald McKay Jr. announce his sudden passing on Monday, August 1, 2022. Roger was born on May 27, 1984, in Thunder Bay. Roger is predeceased by his sisters Geraldine Fox (survived by her 3 children) and JoAnne Fox (survived by her 3 sons and 8 grandchildren). He is also survived by his parents Sylvia Fox (nee Tait) and Roger McKay Sr, and siblings Stan Fox and Kristy Belmore (partner Stacy Kejick and their six children).
Roger lived his life his way. He enjoyed the company of his family and friends. He did not hesitate to help where and when he could. He made sure to remember birthdays and never failed to see his nephews and nieces when their special days came. He missed his sisters deeply and would often tell stories of their lives. Roger will be deeply missed by his family and those that knew him. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm in the Blake Funeral Chapel, 200 May Street South.
