Rollande Racine, aged 95 years, passed away peacefully at Bethammi Nursing Home on October 3, 2016.
Rollande was born in Quebec on May 18, 1921.
She married Laurent Racine on October 16, 1943. When she moved to Thunder Bay she worked at the Holiday Inn and then McKellar Hospital, until her retirement.
She was a member of the Slovak Legion 125 and C.W.L.
She is predeceased by her parents Arthur and Appoline, husband Laurent, sisters Rose-May and Rita, brother Rosarie and many nieces and nephews.
Rollande is lovingly remembered and greatly missed by daughter Ginette Dallaire (Marcel) and many nieces and nephews all in Quebec.
Funeral services for Mrs. Rollande Racine will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. at Jenkens Funeral Home with Msgr. Pat Stilla, V.G. officiating.
