Mrs. Rosa Genovese passed away peacefully at home on March 3, 2022.
She was born November 4, 1943 in Roccarainola, Italy. She married Ferdinando Genovese August 14, 1968 and moved to Canada. She worked at Dawson and Dresswell Drycleaners. She enjoyed gardening, making tomato sauce, and making sausages and cured meats with her husband Freddie.
Rosa is survived by her brother-in-law Tony Genovese and family, her godson Tony Circelli (Michelle Tessier) and nieces and nephews in Italy.
As per Rosa’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2022 in the Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre, presided by Rev. Msgr. P. M. Stilla, V.G. of St. Patrick’s Cathedral. The service will be livestreamed and archived at www.harbourviewfuneral.ca where condolences may be offered as well. Should friends so desire, memorial donations to St. Patrick’s Cathedral would be greatly appreciated.
