Mrs. Rosalie “Rose” Poulin, age 96 years, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2010.

Rose was born and raised in Port Arthur where she raised five children. She attended St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church for many years. Rose lead a very active and independent life enjoying life to its fullest.

Over the past several years, Rose's grandchildren Nikki Chrusz and her children Tyler and Brittany and Randy Chrusz and his son Jesse have taken a very active part in her life and held a special place in her heart.

Survived by her daughter Lillian Clark and family of Texas, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

Predeceased by her husband Roy (1978); sons Robert and Harold; daughters Sally and Shirley and long-time friend and companion Paul Owchar.

Funeral services for the late Mrs. Rosalie Poulin will be held on Friday, June 18, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the Everest Funeral Chapel, 299 Waverley St. at Algoma with The Rev. Mary L. Lucas of St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church officiating. Interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery.

Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to service time. Should friends so desire, donations in memory of Rose to St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church would be greatly appreciated.
