Ross Dunning
June 25, 1936 – December 7, 2016
With heavy hearts the family of Ross “Peekoe, Beaver, Chucker” Dunning, age 80 years, announces that he passed away peacefully on December 7, 2016 in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hospice Unit, with family by his side.
Ross worked for the Ministry of Transportation for almost 40 years as a road construction inspector. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and spent all of his retirement summers at his favourite spot, Kashabowie Lake. He was a diehard Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Blue Jays fan.
Ross will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by Sandra, his wife of 56 years; sons Kevin (Sari), Chris (Crystal), Kerry (Cindy) and daughter Ammi (Ryan); grandchildren Ashley, Nicholas, Kristy, Timothy, Kolby, Aidree, Lucas, Charlie and Dani. He will be missed most by his good friend Ronnie B. Ross was predeceased by his parents Victor and Pearl and siblings Jean, Lloyd, Eveyln and Gordon.
As per Ross’wishes, interment will take place this summer in Cumberland, Ontario.
