It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Roy Sved on November 9, 2023, at the age of 89. He will be greatly missed by his partner of 38 years, Bernice Dawd, sons Bryan and Dave, grandchildren Zach and Kyra. Predeceased by his daughter Kitt. He will also be lovingly remembered by his larger extended family, of his Partner. We would like to first acknowledge the special bond he shared with stepson Grant. Stepson Don (Denise) and their combined children and grandchildren, too many to name, will all miss him. Roy worked his life’s career at International Harvester as a heavy-duty mechanic. After leaving, he went on to Mc Kevitt Trucking for a final couple of years before retiring.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 26 from 1-5pm at Bernice’s home.
A very special thank you goes out to Roseview Manor on how wonderfully the staff treated Roy. We really appreciate the loving care given in this difficult time.
Cuddles on the couch will just never be the same.
