Rudolf Mayer

Mr. Rudolf Franciszek age 89 years, a resident of Lakehead Manor and formerly of the Royalton Hotel passed away at his residence on Monday, September 18, 2017. Born in Poland, Rudolf emigrated to Canada as a young man and received his Canadian Citizenship on May 14, 1965. He lived on Johnson Avenue for many years before moving to the Royalton Hotel on the corner of Court and Bay Streets. He is commonly known for walking around the city with his unique step which was caused by paralysis at younger age..

Funeral services for Rudolf Mayer will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of the Sargent & Son Funeral Home, 21 N. Court Street. Interment to follow in St. Andrew's Cemetery.
