Our hearts are broken. She bore her suffering with determination to live life as fully as possible. She was an inspiration.

Ruth passed away on August 18th at the age of 86. She was born in Fort Frances in 1936, but lived over 50 years in Kenora.

She is predeceased by her husband, Ken and her brothers, Len and Dennis (of Thunder Bay).

She has left behind, her daughters; Diane (Richard), and Brenda, her grandchildren; Steve, Sean (Dawn), Megan (Ernie), and Jodi, and 8 great-grandchildren.

Also left to mourn, her siblings; Bev, Ed, Don, David (Jan), and Roger (Deanna), and in-laws; Esther, Glen (Karen), Jim (Maureen), and Everett.

Ruth is to be cremated. She will then be interred at Lake of the Woods cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

To celebrate her life, if friends desire, contributions can be made to the  local hospital.
