Ruth Wallace

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved family member, Ruth Wallace, on January 27, 2022, born May 9, 1948.

Left to cherish her memory are her sisters Shirley and Gail, in-laws Susan, Penny, Christine, Ian and Bruce. Her dear children Andrew, Fiona (Ben), and Alison (Chris). Her beloved grandchildren Brie, Cole, Caden, Nevarra, Laikyn, and Thomas. Predeceased by her loving husband David, daughter Sandra, daughter-in-law Debbie, parents Lily and Frank, and in-laws Earl and Edith.

Ruth enjoyed crafting, sewing and knitting. She approached new projects with confidence and a willingness to share her finished projects with everyone. Ruth was fulfilled with her career at CIBC, she loved the satisfaction of helping her clients reach their goals. In retirement, she spent her time babysitting her grandchildren, reading romance novels, playing games online with her sisters and solving puzzles. She had a true passion for cooking, she would host every family dinner with a wonderful home-cooked meal.

We will miss your beautiful smile around our dinner table. Goodnight God bless Grandma.

Cremation has taken place. A private family celebration of life will be held in the spring.
