Ryan Jackson age 36 years, a resident of Thunder Bay, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on March 15, 2015.

Ryan was born May 16, 1978 in Thunder Bay and grew up in Current River. He worked for many years at Clara Industrial and more recently at LaFarge Ready Mix.

He was proud to be involved in coaching the Current River Mighty Mite Bruins hockey team on which his son Lucas and daughter Rihanna played. He loved spending time with his children, camping, fishing, going for bike rides, swimming at P.& G., bowling, soccer, and many other outdoor activities.

Ryan will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by children Carleigh, Lucas and Rihanna and step-daughter Brooklyn Wright, parents Brian and Linda Jackson, brother’s Jeff (Shelly) and Derek (Deana). Ryan was a proud uncle to Joshua and Jenna Jackson, Zephan Bryson and Godfather to Raija Tiito. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives also survive.

He was predeceased by Grandparents Sydney and Nancy Jackson, Uncle Barry Jackson, Auntie Pam (Jackson) Kohlin and Great Grandparents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Current River Recreation Centre 450 Dewe Ave, on Thursday March 19, 1:00 -4:00 p.m.
