Samuel C. Townson

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Samuel C. Townson on July 8th, 2018 at the age of 98 just 11 days short of his 99th birthday. 

He will be forever remembered by his 2 sons, Stanley (Georgina) and Alan (Mary Ann), and brother Len (Eva). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, many nieces and nephews and his special friend and partner Mary Keller and her family.

Dad will be reunited with his beloved wife Jessie who passed away in 1985.

Funeral Services for Samuel will take place on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre, officiated by Father Victor De Gagne of Corpus Christi Church. Visitation for family and friends will take place an hour prior to the service time. Interment to follow the Reception in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Joseph’s Hospice.
