It is with great sorrow that the family of Samuel Richard (Sid) Pervais announces his passing on Tuesday, August 6, 2024
He loved spending time with his family, especially the time he spent with his grandkids and great grandchildren. He’d tell stories of his earlier years, travels, and how he met and married his wife, Jean; stories of his time as a cop and of working out west. He enjoyed the outdoors, going to bingo and the casino, “going to see old friends” he would say.
He is survived by his two sons, Samuel and Leonard (Nicole). Grandkids Leonard Jr. (Robin), Jacob, Cameron, Kaylee, Douglas, Jericho, Kaden and Edward. Great granddaughters Naomi, Natalie, Lenni and Maiara. His siblings Miles (Annellen), Ruth, Elizabeth (Liz) and Melvin. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Richard is predeceased by his wife Jean, his parents Margaret and Samuel, brothers Arthur and Michael, and sister Christie.
Funeral services for Sid will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024 at 11:00 am in St. Anne’s Mission Church. The family would like to express their gratitude and thanks to the Dilico Health Team and TBRH Dialysis Unit for their support and assistance. Arrangements entrusted to the Blake Funeral Chapel.
