On Monday, March 23, 2015 Sandra Burrowes passed away suddenly at Pinewood Court in Thunder Bay.
Sandra was a devout Catholic and gave much of her time and efforts to the church and its associated charities.
Sandra is survived by her three children, Rick (Sheilah) Burrowes of Calgary, Bonnie (Paul) Johnson of Thunder Bay, Patti (Ed) Bruzzese of Kamloops, her 8 grandchildren, Charlotte, Catherine, Jennifer, Emily, Jessica, Annie, Erin, and Anthony, and 6 great-grandchildren, Everleigh, Sam, Max, Merritt, Isabelle, and Maddux.
She was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Bob, her father and mother Harry and Anna Shewchuk and by her siblings, sisters; Mary, Sophie, and Barbara and brothers; Harry, Mike, Nick, Nestor and John.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 27, 2015, when family and friends will gather for Funeral Mass at 12:10pm, at St. Agnes' Church celebrated by Rev. James Panikulam. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Sandra's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
