Sean Ashley Moonias

We are saddened to announce the sudden death of Sean Ashley Moonias, at the age of 36 years old, on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.

Sean was raised in Fort Hope, Lansdowne House and Neskantaga. He left home at 18 years old and had mostly resided in Thunder Bay with his family.

Survived by Spouse Rhonda Moonias; Stepdaughter Dawn; Sons Jared & Letroy Moonias; Parents Roy & Lillian Moonias; Brothers Conrad (Sylvia), Leroy & Elroy Moonias; In-Laws Rayann Sagutcheway (Zep), Robert Sagutcheway; Nephews Brennan & Delroy; Nieces Celina & Janessa; Godfather Joey Moonias; Aunts Sally Sakanee (Late Albert), Jennie (Late George O), Jessie & Delphine Moonias; Uncles David (Daisy), William (Sarah), Tommy Joe (Theresa), Dominic (Emily), Eli (Josephine), Allan (Marlene), Stanley (Evelyn), Sandy (Rebecca) & Christopher (Rhoda) Moonias as well as numerous cousins & other family relations.

Predeceased by Grandparents Norman & Susan Moonias, Cameron & Basilee Moonias; Aunt Rita Moonias; Uncle Thadius Moonias & Godmother Laura Moonias.

Sean will be laid to rest at St. Andrew’s Cemetery in Thunder Bay, ON on Friday, March 5, 2021.
