Sharon Patricia DePiero passed away at the age of 75 on November 27th 2016 after a very brief stay at the TBRHSC, with her husband Rodney at her side.

Sharon was a creative and talented sewer, knitter, and rug-hooker - a wizard craftswoman - and she shared her talent with all. In her youth, she was very athletic, meeting Rodney at Tarbutt park where she was playground supervisor.

After raising her children to adolescence, she began a new career as a Real Estate broker, opening Thunder City Realty with her brother Aran. Sharon was caring and hospitable, opening her home to family and friends of her children.

Later on in her full and vibrant life, Sharon and her husband enjoyed many years wintering in Florida. Sharon conferred a passion for creativity, a thirst for knowledge and a zest for life to her children, Jerry and his wife Gabby, Elaine, Teresa and her husband Darren and Mary and her husband Steve as well as her nine grandchildren, A.J, and Dawn-Marie, Nathan and Joseph, Noah, Teia and Evan, as well as Sydney and Jordan, also her mother-in-law Inez DePiero. She was predeceased by her parents Brien and Elaine O'Brien, sister Shaleigh, and father-in-law Tony DePiero.

During the course of her illness, Sharon was fortunate to be attended at home by her loving family who would like to the thank CCAC, St Elizabeth and Bayshore as well as The George Geoffrey Foundation and the ALS Society for their support.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the George Jeffrey Foundation and the ALS Society. A funeral mass for Sharon will be held at St Elizabeth Church Friday December 2, at 11:00 am with visitation one hour before service and reception to follow in the church hall.

Sharon DePiero will be remembered in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove.  Annual dedication service Sunday, June 11, 2017.
