Obituary Candle

It is with deep, profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Rose Randle. Sharon lived her life on Hwy 608 in Neebing, ON. She was born on September 6, 1953, at McKellar Hospital in Fort William, Ontario.

Sharon was predeceased by her parents, James and Myrtle Hayward; her brother, Jerry James Hayward; and her beloved son, Robert (Bob) Randle Jr.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Robert Randle, and her daughter, Lisa Randle.  Sharon will be deeply missed by her sister Marlene Wintersand brothers Wesley Hayward (Tammy) and Reginald Hayward (Lorraine).

She will be fondly remembered by her nieces: Sheila Reda (Claudio), Sheri Ann Mykaluk (Ben), Amanda Greenwald, Amber Carlson, Dr. Jazmyn Carlson, and Aislyn Mitchell (Dave); and by her nephews: Shane Hayward, Joey Randle, and Charles Randle (Jenna). Her grand-nieces Jillian and Emmalee Jackson always held a very special place in her heart. She will also be remembered with love by many other grand-nieces and grand-nephews and her closest friend for many years, Sharon Wasilewski.

Sharon spent many years working as a homecare provider with the Red Cross, dedicating herself to the care and comfort of others. Outside of work, and after she retired, she filled her days with the things that brought her joy. She had a deep love for camping. If it was summertime and she wasn’t home, you could bet she was sitting near a lake beside her camper. She found peace in nature and cherished every lakeside moment.

A lover of the arts, Sharon was a regular at Magnus Theatre, attending countless performances. She also volunteered for many years with the Mile Hill Melodrama Theatre Group, helping bring sold-out performances to the South Gillies Community Centre. Sharon was a gifted and passionate crafter. She enjoyed working on plastic canvas projects, acrylic painting, and crocheting, but sewing and quilting were her true passions. She belonged to a quilting group for many years and created many beautiful pieces. You could always find her relaxing in her recliner watching late-night television, working on some kind of craft project.

She had a special talent for gardening, especially when it came to flowers. Her deck was always bursting with vibrant blooms, with petunias being her favorite. Sharon also found great joy in baking. If she knew you were coming over, there were always fresh-baked goodies waiting. She had perfected the art of making homemade bread and loved sharing her treats with friends and family. For many years, she also enjoyed bowling in a league at Mario’s Bowl on Arthur Street. Sharon lived with heart, humor, and creativity, and touched so many lives with her kindness and warmth.

Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Red Cross or a charity of your choice. She will be forever loved, forever missed, and forever in our hearts.
