Shirley Iris Nicholson (nee Stein) age 89, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2022, at Hogarth Riverview Manor, her residence for several years.
Shirley was born in Fort William, Ontario on January 11, 1933 and lived in Thunder Bay her entire life.
She has left behind her sons Brad Hurley (Margaret), Ross Temple-Hurley (Pam), Randy Spring (Angie) and daughters Gail Gammond (Carl) and Maureen Vescio (Mark). Also left are her sister Beverley Joseph (Bill Dean) and brother Terry Stein (Margaret).
There are also 14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews as well.
Shirley was predeceased by her dear parents William and Bessie Stein, brother Marvin and wife June and their children Kevin, Patricia, April and Ernie Stein, brother-in-law Jim (Chabot) Joseph, and youngest daughter Kim Rigo.
Cremation has taken place and as per wishes no funeral service will be held.
