Stella Yurick, 92 passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 27, 2017 in Lakehead Manor.
She enjoyed family gatherings, knitting and crocheting, going for drives, shopping and lunches. Stella worked at New Method Laundry, Lakehead Psychiatric Hospital laundry, and after retiring, at the Intowner Hotel.
Predeceased by her parents, sisters Ann Black and Mary, brothers Peter, Bill, Nick and Mike. She is survived by her brother Harry (Edmonton), numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service to celebrate the life of Stella will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. in the Blake Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Msgr. P.M. Stilla V.G officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Andrew's Cemetery. If friends desire, memorials to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
