It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Susan Stevens of North Marks Street, Thunder Bay, on Friday, September 30, 2016 after a brief battle with cancer.

Susan was born in Nipigon on April 27, 1952.

She lived briefly in Vancouver, B.C. with her children.

She also lived in other places but would eventually settle back home in Thunder Bay to be near her children and grandchildren whom she lived for.

Susan had a creative flare for cooking and sewing that she loved to share with her family.

Susan was also known as “Mrs. Fix It”, altering items and reinventing uses for them. She was always willing to lend a hand, kind words, and life advice to people in need.

Susan is survived by her son Sean, grandsons Louis and Storm; daughter Autumn, grandchildren Brennon, Tirell and Lily-Taé; brothers Stan, Mike, Leonard and Louis, and sister Darlene.

She is predeceased by her father Abraham and mother Delaine.

A gathering will be held for family and friends on Thursday, October 6, 2016, from 2:00 – 5:00p.m. in the Blake Funeral Chapel. Susan Stevens will be remembered in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove. Annual dedication service Sunday, June 11, 2017.
