Susan Zorzit (Kerkermeier) age 64 years, a resident of Kakabeka Falls, passed away in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre surrounded by her family and friends on Wednesday, October 5, 2016.

Susan was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario.

She was a graduate of Windsor University. Susan taught French at Whitefish Valley School for a number of years retiring from the Lakehead Public School Board in 2012. She was also fluent in Italian and Spanish.

Anyone who met Sue knew they had met someone very special. Susan is survived by her husband Ted; daughters, Leah (Drew Ezack), Marlena Kerkermeier; grandson, Robbie Ezack; cousin and dear friend, Lisa Zanotti of Windsor, Ontario; mother-in-law Rondina Kerkermeier; sister-in-law, Jo-Ann (Ian) Bodnar and family.

She was predeceased by her parents, Leandro and Rosetta Zorzit; brother, John Zorzit and father-in-law Joseph Kerkermeier.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2016, when family and friends will gather for Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m., at St. Theresa Church celebrated by Rev. Alberto Adaza.

Interment will follow in O'Connor Cemetery.
