Ms. Tammy Lynne Wawea, age 55 years, passed away peacefully in her own home on the early morning of June 22, 2022 as her daughter hugged her. Tammy was born on May 25, 1967 in Port Arthur, Ontario. She was passionate about family and friends. She loved to help raise children and eventually became a proud foster parent. She loved cutting hair, swimming, and travelling.
Tammy will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her furbabies Itty Bitty and Ash(‘ole), child Summer Reilly, grandchild Tristan Ledger, nephew Kingston Vermette-Wawia-Fidler, sibling Eli Wawia, long-time friend Eugene Ledger, and many uncles, aunties, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her mother Ethel Dolores Wawia and father Eli Wawia, and sibling Lawrence Wawia.
The family of Tammy would like to thank the homecare nurses and coordinators for their support in bringing my mother home and supporting us through the palliative care process.
