It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Teresa Bertolin (nee Morson) who passed away peacefully at her residence with her daughter and family by her side on Tuesday July 18, 2017.
Teresa was born on September 18, 1914 in Fiume Vento, Italy. She came to Thunder Bay November 1953 with her husband and children and made it there home.
Teresa is survived by her daughter Bruna (Claudio) Mottin, grandchildren Brian Belbas, Alex Mottin, Lori Mottin and Nancy (Bert) Despres, numerous great grandchildren, nephews and nieces, sister Maria from Switzerland and sister-in-law Darlene Bertolin from Windsor. Predeceased by husband Mario Bertolin, son Gianfranco Bertolin, grandchildren John Mottin, Rita Belbas and parents, brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 24, 2017 at 1:30 pm in the Blake Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Ciaran Donnelly officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. If friends desire, memorials to the St. Joseph’s Foundation, Hogarth Riverview Manor would be appreciated.
