It is with broken hearts that the family of Terry O. La Froye Jr., age 33 years, announce his unexpected passing on May 20, 2017.
Terry was born on April 14, 1984 to parents Terry Sr. and Sharon. He moved to Marathon 10 years ago with the love of his life Jenny to work at Barrick Gold Mine. Terry was a hardworking, loving, and the most caring person you could meet. Be it family, friends or even strangers, if you needed help he was there. Through his dad he learned to love fishing, hunting and camping. If he wasn’t working, his time would be spent at camp with Jenny and his adored dog Lucy. He could be quoted when he was away from his family “He loves and misses his girls”.
Terry leaves behind the love of his life Jenny Djordjevic, his loving parents Terry Sr. and Sharon La Froye, his sister Kayla (Bryce) whom he loved dearly, his grandmother Shirley, mother-in-law Peggy Djordjevic, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is predeceased by his loving grandparents Ferninand ‘Fred’ and Louise La Froye.
We would like to give our heartfelt thanks to Terry’s friend Joe for working effortlessly enroute to the hospital to save our son after his ATV accident.
Cremation has taken place. As per Terry’s wishes a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
