Terry O'Neill

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden and peaceful passing of Terrance Arthur O’Neill, age 67, on November 9, 2018.

Terry was born on October 4, 1951 in Fort William, Ontario. Terry was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to camp at Northern Lights Resort for the past 40 years. He loved both fishing and hunting.

He was a successful sales representative for many years. Terry was family oriented and touched many a heart. Terry will be remembered for his awesome sense of humour. He was always there to lend a helping hand because he had many a talent in several fields.

Terry will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife of 26 years, Jeanette and her daughter Sherry (Greg) and grandchildren Kyle and Molly. He is also survived by his mother Patricia, his brothers Michael (Susanne), Thomas (Rita), Randy (Sharon) and Kelly, nephews Sean, Shea, Jacob and Jarred, niece Kayla and great niece Ava O’Neill. His step-daughter Barbara Smith also survives him.

Terry was predeceased by his father, John Patrick O’Neill who passed away in 1998. Terry is now reunited with his beloved dog Sunny who was always by his side.

Funeral services for Terry will be held on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre presided by Rev. Gordon Holroyd. Visitation for family and friends will take place one hour prior to the service time.

In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Terry’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
