It is with great sadness that the family of Theresa Rose Taylor announces her passing after a brief illness, on Friday, April 22,2016 at the age of 53.
Theresa will be lovingly remembered by her sons Lionel (daughter-in-law MJ), Fillip and Henry (Carla); grandsons, Matthew and Nathan and foster daughter Sonya. Theresa will also be fondly remembered by her father Walter and her mother Gertrude (predeceased). She will forever be in the hearts of her sisters Audrey (Brian), Adriane, Lorraine (Derek) and brothers Lionel (Lisa) and Darcy (Sue); her sisters-in-law Maria, Diolinda, Rosa (Antonio), Gabriela and brother-in-law Jose. She will also be forever remembered by her many numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and dear friends who loved her.
A funeral service in memory of Theresa will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2016at 10:30AM in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James, Thunder Bay, with Deacon Michael Robinson officiating. Cremation will take place with interment at a later date. A time of fellowship and reception will be held at the NorWester Best Western Hotel following the service. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm in the Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, her sons ask that a donation be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation in memory of their mother.
