Tab passed away at his home on the morning of February 10, 2022 in Red Rock, Ontario.

He was born to Bruce and Donna Lyons on December 18, 1965 in London Ontario. The family later moved to Thunder Bay, where Tab stayed until the move to Red Rock, where he shared his life with his beloved, Lucie Dubeau.

Tab was a sheet metal worker by trade. He started his career, with his dad, at Mastercraft Heating. He later worked for Addouno’s Sheet Metal and Heating for many years. Four years ago, Tab and Lucie made the move to Red Rock to open Red Pebbles Café.

Tab was an easy-going man, not needing or asking for anything. He took great pleasure in hanging out with his friends and family in the nearby watering hole, whilst enjoying a nice cold beer. For anyone who had the pleasure to know Tab, you’ll smile and remember the kind, fun-loving, gentle man he was. And you’ll laugh out loud and tell stories about how he loved to joke and how much fun you had with him. Ever the quiet guy in the room, you could hear him softly chuckle and see his body shaking with laughter.

Tab will be especially missed by his beautiful, precious mom. They shared a very special relationship, which they both cherished. Tab is, and always will be her most favourite son.

Tab is survived by his devoted partner Lucie and their cat Bad Bob, his daughter Kayla and granddaughter Sophie.

He leaves his sisters, Tamara Day (Scott), Traci Lyons (Jason Tiitto), brother-in-law Jason Barney, sister-in-law Maryanne Needham, nephews Justin, Isaac & Ilias, nieces Jaidyn & Ilicia, his beautiful great nieces Maisy Jane & Emma Grace, and his great nephew, the handsome Hutson, his lifelong friend Larry Moar and lifelong family friend Fred Pukila.

Tab was loved greatly by numerous aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.

Tab was predeceased by his father Bruce Lyons, grandparents Alexander & Dorothy Lyons and Tom & Helen Sinclair, several uncles and aunts.
