Verna “Judy” Hardy

Verna “Judy” Hardy (nee Dumas) age 57 years passed away unexpectedly yet peacefully after a strong battle with cancer on Thursday, January 11, 2018 in the TBRHSC.

Judy was born July 2, 1960 to parents George and Olive Dumas. Judy loved camping, hunting, reading, watching TV and fishing. In her leisure time she spent it enjoying gardens with her mom, she especially loved spending her time with her grandchildren and family. Cooking meals for the family was something that we all looked forward to for our visits with her. 

Judy will be lovingly remembered by her son Adam, daughter Julia, grandchildren Dominic, Jasmine, Tristan, Chloe and Gabriel, sisters Eva Dupuis, Loralee Simpson and Noelle Dumas, brother George “Max” Dumas and by her partner Jim Coreau as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Judy was predeceased by her parents George and Olive Dumas and granddaughter Serenity.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 in the Chapel of Sargent and Son Funeral Home, 21 N. Court Street.
