Viola Galesloot

It is with immense sadness that the grandchildren of Viola Galesloot, age 83 years, announce her sudden passing on Friday, March 13, 2015 in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.

She peacefully passed Heaven’s Gate while holding the hands of her beloved grandchildren.

She was lovingly met on the other side by her only child, Glenn Galesloot (January 27, 2011) where they joined her mother (Irene) and father (Uuno Tamminen) and several pets where they are enjoying and reliving special moments at the family camp.

Viola leaves behind her two special grandchildren who will forever miss her, Shawnassie (Steve Bourgoin) and Ryan Galesloot. She will also be missed by her Aunt Laura, her two very special cousins Lillian and Margie, their families, and several close friends.

A Celebration of Viola's Life will take place on Thursday, March 19, 2015 in Christ Lutheran Church, 47 Walkover Street, Thunder Bay from 1:00pm until 3:00pm. Everest Funeral Chapel, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma in care of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, given Viola’s love of animals, donations to The Thunder Bay and District Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
