Violet May Isotalo (Kivinen)

Violet May Isotalo (Kivinen), age 89 years, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 26, 2021.

Violet was born May 1, 1932 and lived in Lappe. She met and married Olavi Isotalo and they enjoyed their time together. She was a longtime member of Bethel Lutheran Church, where she was very spiritually involved.

Violet is survived by Ernie and Verna Kivinen, Auli Poyhola, William Isotalo, Bob and Cathy Isotalo, Howard and Peggy Isotalo, Lloyd, Cheryl, Louise, and numerous relatives here and in Finland.

She was predeceased by her husband Olavi Isotalo, her parents Oscar and Julia Kivinen, Allan Kivinen, Norman and Barry Kivinen and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 1:30pm in Everest Funeral Chapel, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma, with visitation beginning at 12:30pm. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

COVID-19 Protective measures are still being applied in group settings. Masks or face coverings are mandatory and maintaining social distancing of 6 feet is mandatory for those attending the service.
