Vivian Alfieri
The Alfieri family announces with great sadness that Vivian Leigh Louise Alfieri passed away peacefully on September 1st surrounded by family.

Vivian was born in Bracebridge in 1964, the same year the Beatles (her favourite band) came to North America. Vivian and her family lived in several towns/cities of Southern Ontario but her heart was most fond of her time in Elmira, where she met her lifelong friend Luanne Downie. After moving to the GTA, she remained there throughout her entire career. Vivian worked very hard, and was very successful in both her education and career taking tremendous pride in her 2 homes; first her condo in Toronto and later her home in Brampton. This hard work allowed her to retire at 55 and enjoy the opportunity to experience a lifelong dream of purchasing the Blue Spruce Bed and Breakfast in Stratford, Ontario.

Vivian had many talents including music (piano and french horn), art, photography, and was a lifelong learner. Before her 25 years at York University in which she worked and continued her education, she received her Culinary Arts Degree, ECE Degree, and a BA with Honours in English. She was very caring and loving to all, old and young, shown through her job working for the Toronto Public Library System and York University Library as well as volunteer time with children and adults with special needs.

Viv’s love for animals not only extended to cats and dogs, but also squirrels, all of which she raised and cared for while volunteering for the humane society. Her loving animals Minnie, Charlie, Juan, and Pussin are resting peacefully with her. Her dogs Beto and Chiquita, who are now being cared for and loved by family, will miss her greatly.

Vivian will be missed and lovingly remembered by her parents, Marion and Guido, her three brothers Mark, Dan, and Eddie and his three children, Katelyn Hynes (Jarrod) Emily and Bailey.

Vivian was predeceased by all her grandparents.
