It is with great sadness that the family of Vivian Stella Desgagné announce her passing on November 16, 2017.

Born in Atikokan, Ontario on June 16, 1963, to parents Stella (Lwiwski) and Albert Desgagné. She was raised in Thunder Bay and spent her adult life in Winnipeg before returning back to Thunder Bay.

She was the much loved mother of John-Albert Fagan, Michael Marvin Fagan, Stephanie Anne Desgagné, Robert Arthur Hilton (Arin-Lea), Kenneth Charles Hilton (Laura), and Amanda Starr Hilton. She was predeceased by her son Ronald Frank Fagan, parents Stella and Albert and brother Vernon Desgagné . Grandma will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Andrew, Alysha, Michaela, Ethan, Destiny, Kirie, Haileigh and Alyson, as well as many nieces and nephews. Siblings Marcel (Karen) Desgagne, Jim (Wendy) Desgagné, Annette (Ernie) Desgagné and Janet (Zane) Desgagné will forever cherish the joys, love and laughter of growing up together.

Vivian enjoyed the outdoors with camping and fishing amongst her favorite. She played hockey in her younger years and had unwavering support for the Montreal Canadiens. Many will remember her for her smiles or the smiles she brought to others through her jokes or that ever so well planned out prank. You could always tempt Vivian to attend bingo with you or count on her to provide you with the best deals to be had while shopping. Vivian loved playing board games especially when she gathered as many of her children to play along.

Visitation will take place 1 p.m. with service to follow at 2 p.m. on Monday, November 27, 2017 at Jenkens Funeral Home, 226 S. Syndicate Avenue, in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

In honour of Vivian, donations to PRO Kids or Harbour Youth Services of Thunder Bay can be made in her name.
