Mr. Warren Paju aged 65 passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 28th, 2021 in St. Joseph’s Hospital Hospice Unit with family by his side.

Warren was born on July 31st 1956 in Fort William, Ontario. He was employed for 37 years at Lakehead University as a Technologist in the Electrical Engineering Department until his retirement in 2020.

Since his early teens, Warren loved to tinker with electronic and mechanical things. This continued all his life, as a result he became an accomplished R\C model builder and flyer. He was a long time member of the Thunder Bay Model Airplane Radio Control Club as well as an avid photographer.

Warren was a quiet and kind man. His family was always first and foremost. Warren will be sadly missed and lovely remembered by his brother Dan, sister-in-law Josie and nephew Greg (Kaitlyn), with whom he shared a very close relationship, as well as several cousins. Warren was predeceased by his parents Ray and Luba.

As per Warren’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private internment will take place at a later date.

If friends so desire, donations may be made in Warren’s memory to the Cancer Centre at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre or to St. Joseph’s Hospital Hospice Unit.
