It is with saddened hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and brother, Robert Warren Richardson on July 23, 2018 with his family by his side.

Warren was born on July 16, 1951 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He found great joy in music. He loved old country tunes, with a couple of his favorites being Hank Williams and Willie Nelson. In the good ol’ days he thoroughly enjoyed singing and playing his guitar. Warren was the most warm-hearted man who always put others before himself. He was the head of a large tight knit family and he always remained true to them. He will truly be missed by many.

Warren is survived by his loving wife Vicki Richardson, their six daughters Rhonda Richardson, Julia Richardson, Ellie Tucci (Angelo), Angi Morrison (Walter), Gina Pileggi (John), Nadia Pileggi, and his 13 grandchildren ages 2-18. He is also survived by his step-father George Nicholl, father-in-law Ron Adams (Reine), siblings Heather, Susan, Diana, Christopher, and Robin, as well as many extended family members, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his mother, Ellen Nicholl, father, Robert Richardson, sister, Vivian Richardson, mother in law, Edith Adams, and brother in law, Tom Stewart.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Geoff Davis as well as the staff on the 4th floor at St. Joseph’s Hospital for your compassionate care during this difficult time.

A Celebration of Life for Warren will take place on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Imperial Room downstairs at The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 5, 229 Van Norman Street, Thunder Bay, ON.
