It is with great sadness that the family of Wilfred McDonald announce his passing at Pinewood Court on Tuesday, January 20, 2015.

Wilfred was born October 17, 1921, the youngest of three siblings.

He owned and operated a dairy farm in Murillo with his wife Eva for many years before selling it to pursue other interests. For a number of years, he worked for Anderson Block and Tile. Eventually his love for machinery and gardening led him to work for Rosslyn Service and at a later date the Experimental Farm.

Wilfred is survived by his beloved daughter Sharon (Tony) Barscello; much loved grandchildren Kristen (Richard) Spithoff, Mitchell Barscello and other relatives. He was predeceased by his loving wife Eva (2004), sister May, brother Elmer and many brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws.

Funeral services for the late Wilfred McDonald will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Jenkens Funeral Home with Rev. Lloyd Ivany officiating. If friends so desire, donations may be made to a charity of their choice.
