Mr. William “Bill” Gordon, age 90 years passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Hogarth Riverview Manor – Spruce Floor.
Bill was born August 15, 1930 in Port Arthur, Ontario and was a lifelong resident. Bill was a golf pro at Chapples golf course from 1963-1987. When the weather turned Bill would be driving truck in the winter.
Bill will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Christine Gordon and granddaughter Pamela Gordon and Donna Gordon (Stanley Rados) and granddaughter Michaela Rados as well as his sister-in-law Irene Derzay and cousins. Bill was predeceased by his wife Helen Gordon, son Jeffrey Gordon and sister Ann Gordiy.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 in the Chapel of Sargent and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Ciaran Donnelly officiating. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to register on Bill’s page or call the Funeral Home.
