William M. DePerry

The family of Mr. William M. DePerry are sad to announce his passing at the TBRHSC in Thunder Bay on Friday, February 3, 2017. William was born in Bertrand Spur, Ontario on September 2, 1951. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the bush life. William was a real character, always making people laugh, but when needed, he brought people comfort by making sure they were A-O.K. He was a man who would give you the shirt off his back in 40 below weather. William was passionate about his family, and had a huge heart for all of his grandchildren. William is survived by his 6 sons Matthew (Carolyn), Lance (Kristan), Willie (Heather), Robin, Mason (Stacy) and Lucas; 2 daughters Shannon and Feather; his brothers Russell, Tony and John; and sister Anne; 35 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, aunts, uncles, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Edith, parents William DePerry and Rita Sabourin, and granddaughter Saffron. Funeral Services for Mr. De Perry will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 12:00 Noon in the chapel of the Harbourview Funeral Centre, 499 North Cumberland Street, presided by Rev. Larry Kroker. Visitation for family and friends to begin one hour prior. Interment will take place in the Longlac Cemetery.
