It is with immense sadness we announce the passing of William Robert Thornhill on Friday March 9, 2018 at the age of 52. Billy was a man of few words, so intelligent with a quick wit and if able always there to lend a helping hand. He held cherished connections and memories for his niece Susan, son Michael and friends Becky and Bill.
Billy is survived by his son Michael; father Claude; Sister Claudia (Mark) and Brother David (Brad); niece Susan (Frank) and nephew Robert (Tara); great-niece Shannie (Rob) and Great-nephews Tyler, Devin and Darren (Mel); as well as great-great nieces Emma, Ellie, Jordy and Andy and great-great nephew Trip. He is predeceased by his mother Hulda, sister Lorraine and nephew Arthur. He was a son, a brother, a father, an uncle and a friend. Still loved. Still counted. A life still so meaningful. A celebration of Billy's life will take place on Friday March 16th at Branch 5 Legion on Van Norman at 1:00 p.m. Thank you to Thunder Bay Police
